Our Fitness Plan!

Jodi's Plan.............

I have decided to follow the FIRM cardio weight system.
My plan is to get up around 6, 6:30 am, take my Hydroxy cut pills and do the workout scheduled for that day (50mins).  Since I work from home, have a young child and babysit in the afternoon I will try to increase my daily steps and play some sports with the kids.  When January comes, I want to start P90X.  I already tried it a while ago, but my fitness level is not up to par yet.  Once I get my fitness level up it's time to bring it for 90 days with P90X.  I definitely am going to do yoga a couple times a week.
It sounds easy talking about all this, but doing it will be a different story.  I am going to set some realistic goals for myself to achieve and make sure that I am accountable with Angie.  Even if I'm sore and cranky I am going to try everyday.  Cheers to new beginnings.

Angie's Plan........

I have re-newed my gym membership. I intend to start with three work outs a week with a Sunday Yoga class for extra stretching, for the first month. Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. I work in an office eight hours a day five days a week so cardio is a must for me.  Everyday I workout I will start with 45 minutes of cardio, as that is my least favorite workout to do. Then I will move on to half-an-hour of weight training. Starting on Monday's I will work on my lower body, Wednesday's I will do upper body, and Saturday I will do an all over work out. Ending with a great class of stretching and Yoga on Sundays.
I am really positive about this endeavor as being accountable to someone else is truly motivational in my eyes. And having the support from Jodi; knowing she is going through the same thing is very reassuring. Cheers!

The Meal Plan!

We have both decided to have same meal plan.  We will be eating a lot of lean meats, veggies, salads and nuts.  For Protein we will have egg whites, fish, chicken, turkey and some lean red meat (deer meat).
Salads daily will lemon or balsamic vinaigrette.  Trail mix, yogurt or fruit for snacks.
Water will be the beverage of choice and one coffee as a treat a day with sweetener.  We will also have green tea.
We will try not to eat after 6 @ night.  Another trick we will try is to cut out bread.  For carbs we will have whole wheat pasta, brown rice and fruit.

Our Story

Angie's Story...

I am a 26 year old woman. Through my youth I have always been very skinny and tall. Until I hit about 23 years old, which is now three years ago. I consider myself an emotional eater and like anyone else have been through some stressful times over the passed three years. So of course, the "pounds" kept piling on. I have tried joining gyms and eating right and it is great for about two weeks then I always get off track and feel I have to start over.

Jodi and I met over a year ago as we are soon to be sister-in-laws. We are both in the same boat and want to support each other and be accountable to each other to make this not a "quick fix" change but a life style change.

Jodi's story...

I am a 27 year old women. In in the past I considered myself to be skinny and fit until three years ago. That was before I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I quit smoking as soon as I found out I was pregnant and over my pregnancy I gained 100pds. I could not stop eating! It's been 2.5 years and I'm struggling to lose the last 50pds. I feel that I am an emotional eater and have a lack of determination.

I am excited to get started on this journey with my best lady friend! I feel that with each other's support and accountability we will finally get our bodies back!

Let the journey begin..............
